On 31 January 2024, EXANTE, KPMG and CIBA hosted the "Economic Horizon: Geopolitical Risks and Wealth Management in 2024" forum in Cyprus, bringing together key economists from our Horizon panel and some of the brightest minds in the Cypriot fund management industry to discuss the global economy.

Demetrios Efstathiou, CIO at Blue Diagonal Capital, highlighted the importance of having an adaptive investment portfolio and the ability to respond to geopolitical shifts and risks.

Petros Mavrommatis, Head of Asset Management services at KPMG, focused on Cyprus’s unique role as a growing centre for the international fund industry and the importance of succession planning for wealth managers to avoid capital outflows from their funds.

The welcome notes were delivered by Christos Vasiliou, Managing Director at KPMG, Andreas Pishias, General Manager at CIBA, and EXANTE's Chief Marketing Officer Adrian Coxon.

Look out for more in our Horizon series over 2024!
